Rochelle is the Chief Operating Officer of one of New Zealand's largest youth organisations. She has been working in the charity sector for 15 years across youth and animal welfare and brings a strong understanding of governance and volunteerism to HUHA. Rochelle has a passion for animal welfare and youth development and believes volunteerism is key to building stronger, more resilient communities. She has put her qualifications in captive wild animal management and animal care to good use, volunteering for sanctuaries in South East Asia, as well as caring for many rescue animals on her semi-rural property north of Wellington. Rochelle is excited to be part of the HUHA team and is looking forward to the education opportunities that the new shelter will bring to the community.
