Farm animals are not just stock units but individual, intelligent, social beings, yet everyday hundreds of thousands of them suffer pain, fear and neglect in factory farms, stockyards and slaughterhouses throughout our country.
These sentient beings are the most commonly exploited animals in New Zealand. HUHA feels strongly that we an ethical obligation to refrain from inflicting pain and suffering upon them. They deserve an environment and conditions that allow them to fulfil their natural behaviours and achieve a state of well-being.
If you take the time to get to know a cow, a pig or a chicken you would quickly learn what wonderful gentle souls they truly are.
Help to make a difference by becoming aware. We are asking you to make a personal choice to help stop the suffering.
